Patient Participation Group

We would like to encourage our patients to join our Patient Participation Group.

At Alresford Surgery, we believe that listening to our patients is essential to providing the best possible care. That is why, in March 2010, we launched the Alresford Surgery Patient Forum — a group designed to give patients a stronger voice in the way our services are delivered and developed.

The forum was created with three main aims:

  1. To give patients the opportunity to share their views on current services and any future changes.
  2. To encourage open communication and understanding between patients and practice staff.
  3. To ensure patient ideas and feedback help shape the future of the practice.

Since it began, the Patient Forum has continued to meet regularly, sometimes annually and sometimes more frequently depending on current projects and priorities. Alongside these meetings, patients are also invited to share feedback and take part in surveys throughout the year.

The goals of the forum remain as important today as they were when it was first established. Patient feedback has already helped bring about significant improvements to our services, including a major upgrade to our telephone system and the continued development of our appointment system.

We are grateful to all patients who contribute their time, ideas and feedback, helping us to improve the services we provide for the whole community.
