Appointments

Urgent appointments

We do not offer a walk-in emergency clinic.

We operate a duty doctor system each day for patients who are acutely unwell or with an urgent problem. In addition, we have boosted our access for those who are more vulnerable by having additional slots throughout the day for this group to access.

To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday):

  • phone us on 01962 732345, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Please be aware our staff have been trained and may appropriately direct you to an alternative service, which may be better suited to your problem thus ensuring you can access GP appointments when you really need them.

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, please ring 01962 732345 before 10am and one of our receptionists will take the details and ask a clinician to phone you to further assess your clinical needs. Our clinical team will visit patients as soon as is possible, prioritising the calls to be made according to the clinical need.

We encourage patients to attend the surgery, if at all possible, as it offers better facilities for examinations.
