All access to our building is on the ground floor & is accessed through automatic doors into the practice and induction loops at reception.

Within the building we have accessible bathrooms with changing facilities.

We have easy to read signage for accessing bathrooms or exits.

Do you need any further adjustments to your visit at the practice due to having additional needs or a disability?

Easy information about your health:
We can provide accessible information about how and when appointments are available and how to get prescriptions or access services.

Somewhere quiet to wait:
If you need somewhere quiet to wait for your appointment please speak to Reception who can organise another room for you to wait in, alternatively if you would prefer to wait outside & be called in, this is fine too but please let Reception know that you are doing this.

Seeing the same doctor:
If you prefer to seem the same doctor when you visit the Surgery, we will try to accommodate this if at all possible but we do recognise that in an emergency this may not be possible.

Appointments:
If an earlier/later appointment or longer appointment would be beneficial then we can try to accommodate this also.

Visiting the Surgery before your appointment:
If visiting the Surgery before your appointment would help with any worries you may have, we can organise this for you too. Please ask at Reception about being able to have a tour of the Surgery or of a doctor’s consultation room prior to your appointment.
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.
Our GP Surgery works in partnership with other local GP Surgeries to provide extra appointments in the evenings and weekends. This helps to make more appointments available for our patients if we are fully booked. It also helps provide flexibility for patients who may need to arrange an appointment in the evening or at weekends if we are not open.

Our team may offer you an appointment with the extended access service if you need an appointment before we can provide one. If you would prefer an evening or weekend appointment, please tell us when requesting an appointment, and we will try to arrange this where possible. You can also tell us if you prefer a telephone, video or face-to-face appointment.

Our extended access service is provided by Andover Hub or Alresford/Watercress Surgery, where you can access a routine GP appointment , Physio Appointment or Nurse led appointment. The service is being expanded so there will be a range of appointments available so please ask the receptionist for more information.

Please be aware that you may not see your regular clinician however, all clinicians at the hub will have full access to your medical records and all information following your appointment will be available back at your regular Surgery.

Appointments are available 6pm – 8pm weekdays and 9am – 5pm Saturday.

You can visit their website for details on how to get there if you are given a face-to-face appointment.
