The Alresford Surgery building is open from 8.30am - 6.30pm, Mon - Fri.
A Surgery is held in the village hall at Preston Candover:
If the doctor is away the surgery will not be covered. Please 'phone on the normal number beforehand to ensure the doctor will be in attendance and to register your intention to see the doctor.
Please phone or call in for an appointment. You may see any doctor if he or she is available, although we encourage you to see your usual Doctor if possible. Appointments are generally booked for ten minutes.
If you or your child are too ill to come to the surgery, a doctor will visit at home. Please telephone or call in before 10.30 if possible, and be prepared to give some details so that the doctor can decide how urgently the visit should be made.
If you have an urgent problem during the day, we will try to see you in the Surgery as quickly as possible.
Out of Hours cover is provided by West Hampshire Primary Care Trust. For urgent medical care telephone on 0844 811 3060. For advice only on medical problems call NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
If you wish to speak to a doctor, please telephone after morning surgeries (11.30) or before evening surgeries (15.30). If you wish to speak to the nurse, please telephone between 10.30 and 11am. If she is unavailable you will be asked to either ring back or to leave a message for the nurse to contact you.
Please avoid the busy morning period when telephoning for test results or for making non-urgent appointments.
The Alresford Surgery is accessible for wheelchairs.
