If you were 64 or over on 1st April this year or if you have one or more of the following:
We will be running our usual walk in clinics from 1.00 to 2.30 on the following dates:
We will advertise the dates for the Preston Candover clinic, visits to the local residential homes in next month's issue. We will also run bookable clinics from the end of October/early November, dates will be available by the middle of October. We would recommend that patients who have difficulty standing for any length of time wait for these clinics.
The Department of Health and our suppliers have assured us that flu vaccine will be delivered on time this year.
Healthy people under 65 do not need to be vaccinated. While flu is a nuisance it is not usually serious and the occasional bout of flu provides better long term protection than vaccination. The vaccine is however normally available, for a fee, at most private hospitals.
Dr Cross will be returning to the surgery shortly and will run clinics on Fridays from 31 August.
