We run a very flexible travel service at the surgery which allows patients to attend for general advice and recommended vaccinations. Appointments are available throughout the day.
However it is important that patients do not leave this important matter to the last minute.
As soon as your holiday abroad has been booked please complete a travel form available from reception. Some vaccinations require a course of 3 doses and this can take 6-8 weeks to complete. There maybe a charge for some of the vaccines.
Whilst we are able to treat some minor injuries we are not an Accident and Emergency department. We do not have Xray or other specialist facilities.
Patients should not delay attending A&E at the hospital when serious injuries have been sustained or are suspected.
We will not be open 26 and 27 December or 2 January. In order that we can see patients with urgent needs there will be limited appointments available for pre-booking between Christmas and New Year.
Please ensure that you have an adequate stock of regular medications to cover the holiday period.
