Flu Immunisation Time is approachingIf you are 65 or over of if you have one or more of the following:
Healthy people under 65 do not need to be vaccinated for while flu is a nuisance it is not usually serious and the occasional bout of flu provides better long term protection than vaccination. We will be running the usual flu clinics details will be published in next months' edition and will be advertised in the surgery from the end of August. MMR vaccinationIt is never too late to arrange for your child to have this vaccination. Over 10% of children have never had this vaccination due mainly to parental concerns about the safety of the vaccine. As a result Mumps is now re-appearing in the population. If your child did not have this vaccination or the booster, and you would now like to consider it please contract the Health Visitors on 724493. Wheel walking frameAvailable to go to a good home. If you could use a frame which has been left with us please contact Richard Hanney on 01962 732345. Preston CandoverThere will be no surgery on Thursday 4 and 11 August. |
