Pneumococcal vaccine
Supplies of this vaccine are due to be received and patients over 80 years of age who have
not had this vaccination before are entitled to have a dose.
We hope to run a clinic mid February - please contact the surgery for an appointment.
Asthma review
All patients who need to see a doctor for further inhalers, or who are seeing the asthma
nurse, are asked to bring their inhalers and inhaling devices with them. A quick check to ensure
correct use will be undertaken.
Christmas presents
The doctors and staff would like to thank all patients who very kindly brought in gifts. Your
generosity was much appreciated. We are trying to thank you all personally by letter but if we
have inadvertently lost your gift tag and missed you out - please accept this as our way of
saying thank you.

Dispensary services
Patients are reminded that they may collect prescriptions dispensed by the surgery from the
Post Offices in Cheriton and Preston Candover. Requests for further repeats may also be left at
the Post Offices. If a fee is due please ensure this is enclosed with the request.
Our delivery service is also in operation and we can arrange for medications to be delivered
to your home providing there is someone to accept them. Deliveries are made in the early part of
the afternoon. For further details call the surgery.
Preston Candover - February
Clinics will run every Monday and Thursday, except Thursday 19th February. Patients are
reminded that they should telephone the surgery on the usual number before attending clinics.
