Flu clinics reminder

We strongly recommend that the following people should have the vaccination.

• Everyone who will be 65 or over by 31.12.02.
• All those with chronic respiratory disease.
• Patients who have been diagnosed with asthma and need regular use of inhaled or systemic steroids.
• All patients who have diabetes.
• Patients with renal disease.
• Patients who have immunosuppression.

If you do not meet the above criteria you should not attend the clinics. You may discuss vaccination with your GP.

• Wednesday 2nd October 2.00 - 3.30pm
• Wednesday 9th October 2.00 - 3.30pm
• Thursday 10th October 2.00 - 3.00pm

Preston Candover Village Hall

• Thursday 10th October 9.00 - 10.00am.

There will be additional clinics later in October for those that cannot make these times but dates have not yet been finalised.

Meningitis C Vaccination

This vaccination has been available to babies, children and students for some time. The NHS have now agreed that anyone up to, and including 24 years of age may have the vaccine. Patients may make an appointment with our nurse if they would like to protect themselves against this form of meningitis which can prove fatal.
