HAYFEVER

Spring has now arrived - most of us look forward to longer and warmer days but for those who suffer with hayfever it can be a mixed blessing. There is evidence to suggest that the severity can be reduced if sufferers start to take medication at the first sign of symptoms.

TETANUS

Patients are reminded that they should have boosters every 10 years but once 5 doses have been administered, life long immunity is achieved. If you need a booster please make an appointment with our nursing team.

SMOKING CESSATION PROGRAMME

We are pleased to announce that a smoking cessation clinic will commence in Alresford on 12^th June. If you have the desire to stop smoking this may give you the best opportunity to succeed. Patients need to register with the "Quit Smoking" team on 01256 312270. The surgery cannot take names.

MINOR SURGERY

Lumps and bumps can be removed here at the surgery including warts under anaesthetic spray. Please make an appointment to see a doctor for assessment if you need treatment.
